NEW YORK CITY–Columbia Property Trust has brought on Kelly Lim as VP, eastern region. Based here, the 11 year-industry veteran has made a move following a more than six year-stint at Rockwood Capital, where he managed a portfolio of value-add and core-plus properties and supported the company's acquisitions efforts on the East Coast. During that time, Lim managed a portfolio of nearly 2.4 million square feet of office assets in the New York and Boston markets and helped execute nearly $2 billion in acquisitions and dispositions.
Earlier in his career, Lim worked at Clarion Partners, where he served in both acquisitions and asset management roles, and, prior to that, he served in the real estate advisory group at Duff & Phelps.
In his new role, Lim will focus on the New York market, managing and maximizing the value of Columbia's four existing New York assets, as well as sourcing and executing on new value-creating investment opportunities for Columbia in New York. The firm is based in Atlanta.
Columbia's Eastern Region team, currently manages 3.1 million square feet of prime office space spread among seven office properties in New York City, Washington, DC and Boston, and is led by SVP Adam Popper.
“Kelly's depth of experience and relationships in New York will be invaluable as we strategically expand our presence in the market,” says Nelson Mills, president and CEO of Columbia Property Trust.
Adds Popper, “Kelly brings an in-depth understanding of managing, leasing, and renovating properties, which will help further establish Columbia Property Trust's reputation.”
