FLAGSTAFF, AZ—Welbrook Senior Living has partnered with Embree Asset Group, a full-service healthcare and retail development group based in Georgetown, TX to develop its newest facility. Construction of the new transitional rehabilitation facility is now underway and patients are expected to be admitted beginning in the middle of next year. “We are excited to join with Embree in developing a new, state-of-the-art transitional rehabilitation facility,” said Mark Wimer, chief operations officer at Welbrook. “Their expertise and commitment to our project will allow us to bring a level of care and service that is truly unique and that benefits residents of Flagstaff and surrounding communities.” This facility will allow patients a better short-term option for recovery from an accident or illness following discharge from local hospitals. Welbrook Flagstaff will provide 50 private rehabilitation suites for patients and create nearly 100 new jobs. Welbrook will work in conjunction with existing local healthcare providers including hospitals and physicians to get people back home as quickly and safely as possible. Wimer tells GlobeSt.com: “Flagstaff is a great fit with our vision of quality rehabilitation in a luxurious setting that promotes healing. We are excited to be developing a unique post-hospital service for this community and look forward to partnering with existing providers to expand on a long-standing tradition of great healthcare for all of Northern Arizona based in Flagstaff.” Welbrook Senior Living has grown to provide care and services across many segments of the post-acute care industry including independent living, assisted living, memory care and its newest program, transitional rehabilitation. With healthcare-purposed design, newly constructed facilities and a focus on care excellence, Welbrook provides both senior living and recovery from an accident or illness. “With Embree as our quality partner, we are positioned to make this vision a reality quickly,” said Wimer. “We anticipate admitting our first guests in mid-2017.”
