ROCKVILLE, MD--New York Life Real Estate Investors has refinanced Two White Flint North, a 348,000-square foot office building with a $100 million fixed-rate loan with a 19-year term.

Earlier this year Lerner Enterprises and The Tower Cos. renewed the US Nuclear Regulatory Commission's full-building lease about two-and-a-half years before it was set to expire for a 15-year term.

Two White Flint North has been the national headquarters for the NRC for over 20 years. However, a few years ago the commission's space needs became something of an issue for Congress with the build-to-suit controversy at Three White Flint North.

GSA bought One White Flint North, which the NRC also occupies, after it was developed by Lerner and the Tower Cos.
