NEW YORK CITY—Pembrook Capital Management has hired Lisa Davis as director of investor relations and specialty investment originations.
The 15-year veteran of CRE and development joins the firm from the Ford Foundation, Metropolitan Opportunity Program here, where she served as a program officer. In that role, Davis helped place over $45 million in grants and nearly $10 million in program related investments annually for national initiatives. She oversaw US-based affordable housing and community development finance portfolios as well as impact investing work.
Earlier in her career, Davis served as VP and project executive at New Boston Fund, a private real estate investment management firm, where she directed master planning, investment and development of over $300 million in mixed-use projects in Boston. Prior to that, she was director of development for the Codman Square Neighborhood Development Corp. and director of housing and development for the Asian Community Development Corp. two nonprofit community development corporations in Boston.
At Pembrook—a commercial real estate investment manager that provides financing throughout the capital structure—Davis will interface with Pembrook's socially motivated investors, including regulated financial institutions, pension funds, endowments, family offices and high net worth individual investors.
She also will originate investments that promote affordable housing, job creation and revitalization of underserved neighborhoods. Davis sits on the board of directors for the Brooklyn Navy Yard and is a member of the Affordable and Multifamily Housing Council of the Urban Land Institute.
