OLD BRIDGE, NJ—Veteran commercial real estate salesperson Peter H. Nicholson has left Metro Commercial Real Estate to join R.J. Brunelli & Co. as a senior sales associate.
“We are pleased to welcome Pete to the R.J. Brunelli & Co. family. As we transition and modernize our firm to position for future growth, we know the importance of building a diverse team of agents to address our clients' needs,” said Ron DeLuca, R.J. Brunelli's CEO and principal. “Pete's experience and long-standing respect within the New Jersey and Pennsylvania retail real estate community has already been positively impactful to our firm.”
Nicholson has more than 30 years of sales and management experience in the real estate and chemical industries. For the past 17 years he represented landlords and tenants on leases and sales for Metro Commercial Real Estate, Mount Laurel, NJ.

In his capacity as a landlord representative, he most recently served as leasing and de facto project manager on a number of shopping centers undergoing redevelopment. This role included directing renovation concepts, supervising architectural and structural engineering designs, reviewing construction bids, and completing preliminary and final financial pro forma returns for renovations exceeding $5 million.
Before joining Metro Commercial in 1999, Nicholson held various positions of increasing responsibility at global chemicals manufacturer Rohm and Haas Company, now part of Dow Chemical, starting as a development engineer in 1978.
