NEW YORK CITY—Data-driven project management and procurement platform Honest Buildings has signed a partner agreement with brokerage firm NAI Global, a leading global commercial real estate brokerage firm. Jay Olshonsky, president of NAI Global, rolled out the announcement during the firm's annual global convention in Amelia Island, FL this week.

Through the agreement NAI will make the Honest Buildings software solution available to its member firms to streamline project management processes, reduce costs and increase efficiencies on projects portfolio-wide.  “By providing our member firms the latest tools and technology available, we help them provide solutions for their clients and maximize the value of their assets,” Olshonsky says.

“Gaining a tighter handle on cost controls with the smart, proactive financial tracking tools that are part of the Honest Buildings platform allows owners to keep their projects on time and on budget by leveraging data to improve operations,” he continues. “Once we saw how effective their software is for driving collaboration and good decision making through the entire project lifecycle, we couldn't wait to introduce the technology to our clients.”

A cloud-based technology built specifically for commercial real estate owners, project managers and operators, Honest Buildings was founded in 2012 by CEO Riggs Kubiak. The company's client base includes Beacon Capital Partners, SL Green Realty Corp., Related Cos., Invesco, Parkway Properties, and the JBG Cos.,  which use Honest Buildings to centralize project data, increase transparency, automate bid management and standardize reporting. Last week, Honest Buildings announced that it had reached a milestone of $1 billion in projects under management with the addition of Chicago-based Zeller Realty Corp. to its roster.

NAI Farbman, which represents NAI Global in Michigan, is an early adopter of the Honest Buildings platform. The firm already has more than 25 professionals currently utilizing Honest Buildings to operate the 25 million square feet it manages in the Midwest. “We saw a nearly immediate return on investment in time and project savings for our team and our clients,” says Andrew Gutman, NAI Farbman's president and CFO.

“We are focused on making our software available to owners and managers in the ways that work best for them, directly or seamlessly integrating with leading professional services firms like NAI Global,” says Kubiak. “We are honored to work with Jay Olshonsky and NAI in the expansion of our partner network. This agreement adds significant momentum to our mission to accelerate urban progress by empowering collaborative, data-driven decision making, project by project, city by city. ”
