NEW YORK CITY—Global real estate conference organizer Reed MIDEM and real estate technology accelerator MetaProp NYC have revealed the first featured speakers and key themes for the MIPIM PROPTECH SUMMIT EXCLUSIVELY to GlobeSt.com.

The summit will take place on Wed., October 5, at The Altman Building, located at 135 W. 18th St. here. The summit is the 2016 NYC Real Estate Tech Week's flagship event.

The scheduled speakers will offer viewpoints from both the public and private sectors and include Zachary Aarons and Clelia Peters, co-founders of MetaProp NYC; David Eisenberg, founder and CEO of Floored; Duke Long, PropTech blogger and commercial real estate broker; Paul Massey, president, New York investment sales, Cushman & Wakefield, and NYC mayoral candidate; Nick Romito, founder and CEO of VTS; Sara Shank, managing director and head of portfolio management at Beacon; Adam Stanley, global CIO at Cushman & Wakefield; Karina Totah, VP of strategic initiatives at the NYC Housing Authority and Bradley Tusk, founder and CEO of Tusk Strategies and Tusk Ventures.

The MIPIM PropTech Summit will bring corporate real estate, government and technology professionals together under the same roof for a full day of panels and networking opportunities. During the course of the MIPIM PropTech Summit, speakers will discuss key topics including an overview of PropTech; government's role in the space, the real estate industry's next frontier and PropTech on a global level.

“We've been seeing strong interest in these themes globally,” says Filippo Rean, head of Reed MIDEM's real estate division. “And with New York being the country's epicenter of technological innovation, this day is shaping up to be one of the industry's most exciting, diverse and thought-provoking events of the year.”
