Rob Kohn

NEW YORK CITY—Following a three-year stint at the firm earlier in his career, private equity veteran Rob Kohn has rejoined Park Madison Partners as an equity partner.

Kohn brings more than 15 years of experience in real estate and banking as well as extensive experience in Europe and Asia. He joined Park Madison Partners in 2010 as a principal and in 2012 was promoted to partner. He went on to serve another three years as SVP at Akridge, a vertically integrated commercial real estate firm in Washington, DC.

Kohn was responsible for sourcing and structuring joint venture partnerships with industry-leading institutional investment firms. He also was a senior advisor to one of the largest privately owned private equity real estate firms in Europe, providing strategy advice with a focus on North American investors.

In his new role at Park Madison, Kohn will focus on capital formation, strategic advisory services and client management.

“I am delighted to welcome Rob back to Park Madison Partners,” says Nancy Lashine, managing partner and founder. “As one of three equity partners, he will be a key player as we continue to institutionalize Park Madison's growing business. The firm has come a long way since inception in 2006, from a small boutique firm to a full-service private placement and advisory business with nine distribution professionals.”

Kohn adds, “The major focus of my career has been in placement, and the opportunity to participate in the next generation of leadership at Park Madison Partners was too attractive to pass up. Nancy has always been a great mentor, and I look forward to working with her and Carrie Coulson as we continue to grow and serve our clients' needs.”

Kohn also has worked as a partner at Quince Hill Partners and director of marketing at Commonwealth Realty Investors. He began his career at JPMorgan Chase as an investment banking analyst.
