NEW YORK CITY—onTarget, a startup in MetaProp NYC'S 2016 accelerator cohort, has formed a partnership with Procore—a cloud-based construction management software—to provide integrated, real-time information integration technology for on-site construction professionals.
“We are always looking to drive more value to our existing customer base by partnering with the best the industry has to offer, enabling new features and functionality in a seamless manner that makes the lives of construction professionals easier,” says Paul Lyandres, VP of strategy and business development, Procore. “We're excited to be partnering with onTarget to launch its new integration on the app marketplace, which will bring their proven value to 1.5 million Procore users globally.”
Built by construction professionals for the construction industry, onTarget's information integration tool solves the problem of broken construction site collaboration by empowering project managers and superintendents with the right information at the right time.
Team members can visualize mission critical tasks on location, verifying accuracy and quality, while communicating bottlenecks to management in real time. Management decision-makers in the office can then instantly identify issues and recommend solutions.
Comparing planned versus actual progress, onTarget's technology maintains 360-degree visibility, ensuring on time and on budget project delivery. The onTarget integration is available to all Procore users via the App Marketplace, the online hub for third party integrations and custom applications that plug into the Procore platform. Based here and led by co-founders Niran Shrestha, CEO, and Sanjeev Ghimire, CTO, onTarget's software is being used in several major construction efforts, including the Build it Back-Sandy Reconstruction project.
“The onTarget and Procore partnership provides a centralized platform for project managers in the field to track progress and collaborate seamlessly with the entire team of architects, owners and contractors,” Shreshta tells GlobeSt.com.
”With an onTarget integration, a construction team can foresee conflicts and study potential solutions in logistical issues or inefficiencies,” he adds in a statement. “These animated models represent the planned construction sequence juxtaposed against time-sensitive details such as out-of-sequence work, scheduling conflicts between multiple trades, 'what if' scenarios and macro-level construction phasing strategies. Users can now access the models on any device, including mobile phones, to track and update progress.”
Adds user Alex Kyriazis, CEO of Vector Group, “Vector has been using onTarget for several months for project tracking using BIM models. With the integration of Procore, we are very excited that the project managers at the site can now access that information in real time. We are able to instantly share and visualize the progress virtually with the owner, architects, subcontractors and suppliers.
Kyriazis continues, “We are implementing onTarget in our new $70-million project in Manhattan and utilizing the power of their partnership with Procore.”
