Havens Head Shot

NEW YORK CITY—In an effort to expand its reach in the office leasing market, TerraCRG has hired Christopher Havens as managing director, office leasing. The Brooklyn-focused commercial real estate firm plans to expand its Brooklyn office leasing team this year with several senior hires.

Havens joins the firm aptsandlofts.com, which was acquired by Citi Habitats in 2015.  The  veteran real estate professional has specialized in the Brooklyn marketplace for two decades.

“The Brooklyn office market is ripe for a dedicated leasing team with over 45 million square feet of office space in the market now and over nine million square feet planned or underway,” says Ofer Cohen, founder & CEO of TerraCRG. “Our experience in the market has taught us that tenants looking for space need access to local market expertise as they sift through the increasingly diverse Brooklyn office options.”

Havens is a trustee of the Brooklyn Children's Museum, a founding member of the Brooklyn Historical Society's Real Estate Roundtable, a member of the Real Estate Board of New York, a member of the advisory board to The West Indian-American Day Carnival Association, a board member of The Franklin Furnace, and a member of the friends committee of MOCADA in Fort Greene and the Brooklyn Chamber of Commerce.
