AUSTIN, TX—Garrett Gilleland has joined the Holliday Fenoglio Fowler Austin office as an associate director focused on land investment sale transactions in the Central Texas corridor and San Antonio. Gilleland joins HFF from ARA where he was an associate representing land owners and purchasers.
DALLAS—SRS Real Estate Partners has formalized leadership in the Southeast for its investment properties group, which focuses on multi-tenant investment sales. Kyle Stonis, managing principal, and Pierce Mayson, principal, out of Atlanta will lead the multi-tenant investment sale activity, recruiting and expansion efforts in Texas.

DENVER—Ware Malcomb announced Jansen Strawn Consulting Engineers, a Ware Malcomb Company, has relocated to a larger office located at 990 S. Broadway, Suite 230. Ware Malcomb also maintains a second office in downtown Denver located at 1600 Champa St., Suite 350.
HOUSTON—The Woodlands Development Company, a wholly owned subsidiary of The Howard Hughes Corporation, will host a birthday bash on Sunday, April 23 from 1:00 to 5:00 p.m. at the 66-acre mixed use development on Lake Woodlands. The birthday celebration includes free birthday t-shirts with a $10 minimum event-day purchase. DENVER—HREC Investment Advisors has arranged the sale of the 213-guestroom Quality Inn Central Denver. The hotel was purchased by DEN 8888 LLC, a private investment partnership. Jeffrey Duni and Mike Dube in HREC Investment Advisors' Denver office exclusively represented the seller, Denver Heights International LLC, during the transaction.
FARMERS BRANCH, TX—Steven Shelley of Transcontinental Realty Investors Inc. purchased commercial properties located at 1603 LBJ Freeway from Daniel J. Moos of TCI Park West I Inc. The financing institution on this $42.84 million deal was JPMorgan Chase Bank NA, according to Enriched Data.
FARMERS BRANCH, TX—Marcus & Millichap facilitated the sale of a 235,042-rentable-square-foot mixed-use retail/flex/office park development.
LITTLE ROCK, AR—Pillar, a division of SunTrust Bank, has originated $25.489 million to refinance Metropolitan Apartments. The property consists of 260 units, featuring one- and two-bedroom apartments and high-end amenities such as a fitness center and swimming pool. Metropolitan Apartments is fully leased at market rates. Evan Hom, managing director in Pillar's New York office, originated the fixed-rate, 35-year term HUD loan with a 35-year amortization schedule for Transcontinental Realty Investors/Abode Properties, a Dallas-based multifamily property owner/developer.
SPRING, TX—NAI Partners represented Laurus Holdings Ltd. in leasing 1,400 square feet to Spring Educators LLC dba Huntington Learning Center located in Clay Crossing at 2194 Rayford Rd. Jason Gaines and Shaffer Braun of NAI Partners represented the landlord Laurus Holdings during the lease negotiations.

GEORGETOWN, TX—Trendmaker Homes, a member of the TRI Pointe Group, announced the grand opening of its new model home at Rancho Sienna, a 500-acre master-planned community by Newland Communities. The community is located on the eastern edge of Texas Hill Country. Trendmaker is building 28 single-family residences, ranging in size from 2,425 square feet to 3,151 square feet. With prices starting from the $360,000s, sales are currently underway with the model home now available for daily touring.
OKLAHOMA CITY—The sale of the First National Center recently closed and work has begun, converting the building into a mixed-use center including luxury residential apartments, hotel and retail space. The 1,031,538-square-foot project will include 212 residential units and 140 hotel rooms. Renovations of the Art Deco building, built in 1931, include restoration of the historic Great Banking Hall, stripping the office floors, creating housing on the ninth through 30th floors and a luxury boutique hotel on the second through eighth floors. Current scheduling suggests that the project will deliver in 2020. Merriman Anderson/Architects will provide architecture design, interior design, FF&E design and virtual reality design services for the development.
