WASHINGTON, DC–George Vogelei has joined Transwestern's Washington DC office as EVP of agency leasing. His specialty is landlord representation for institutional and private owners of commercial real estate. Vogelei will work with both asset services and agency leasing teams.
Before joining Transwestern, Vogelei was managing director of Asset Services at Newmark Knight Frank, where he was responsible for leasing a 5 million-square-foot portfolio and advised in acquisition and disposition transactions. Prior to that, he was associate director of Leasing at Vornado Realty Trust.
Vogelei is only a few weeks into the job, Phil McCarthy, Transwestern Executive Managing Director and Mid-Atlantic Market Leader boasts, and he has already earned a new leasing assignment for a trophy office building in DC — Lano/Armada Harbourside has tapped Transwestern to lease Harbourside North, a 127,308-square-foot building at 2900 K St. NW.
