DALLAS—Cushman & Wakefield names Christy Means as managing director of property management. She previously led DFW property management for Stream Realty Partners, where she oversaw a team of about 130 people and the management of office, industrial and retail space.

ARLINGTON, TX—Brown Gibbons Lang | Real Estate Partners announces the sale of the Kleiman | Evangelista Eye Center. Brown Gibbons Land's national healthcare real estate team served as the exclusive advisors to the sellers in the transaction. Kleiman | Evangelista Eye Center is a physician-owned outpatient surgical center specializing in ophthalmology care. Completed in 2015, the property consists of approximately 27,500 square feet and is strategically located in the center of the DFW metroplex.
AURORA, CO—ARA, A Newmark Company, announces the sale of Viridian at the Gardens on Havana, a class-A 227-unit community. ARA vice chairmen Terrance Hunt, Shane Ozment, Jeff Hawks, Doug Andrews and executive managing director Chris Cowan represented New York-based AIG Global Real Estate and Post Investment Group, partners in the transaction, in the sale to global investment management firm, CBRE Global Investors.
AUSTIN, TX—Chad Williams and the Avison Young asset services team recently secured the property management assignment of 232,000 square feet at 5330 Fleming Ct. This former industrial facility is utilized by a current industrial client and is also the home of a high performance, readily adaptable space for motion picture and television productions.
BOULDER, CO—KeyBank community development lending and investment has provided an $8.5 million bridge to agency loan for Depot Square Apartments. The LEED Gold Certified multifamily complex was built in 2015 and consists of 71 units that are all permanently restricted for tenants earning 60% of the area median income.
CARROLLTON, TX—Pro Source Athletics leased 12,542 square feet at 1420 Halsey. Adam Curran of Cushman & Wakefield represented the tenant in negotiations with the landlord, FLT Acquiprot-Campus.
DALLAS—Skiermont Deby leased 13,939 square feet of office space in Thanksgiving Tower at 1601 Elm St. Mike Wyatt and Cribb Altman of Cushman & Wakefield represented the law firm in the deal. The landlord, Woods Capital, was represented by Dennis Barnes, Shannon Brown and Alexandra Jennings of CBRE.
DALLAS—Emcare Inc. leased 10,982 square feet at Galleria North, 13737 Noel Rd. The tenant was represented by Alan Wood of JLL. Lauren Napper, Trey Smith and Chris Taylor represented the landlord, Galleria North Tower I Inc.
DALLAS—Paycom leased 10,644 square feet in Providence Tower, 5001 Spring Valley Rd. Cribb Altman with Cushman & Wakefield represented the tenant. The landlord, EOS Properties, was represented by Justin Miller of Transwestern.
DALLAS—Hanson & Co. leased 4,947 square feet in Bent Tree Tower II, 16479 Dallas Pkwy. The tenant was represented by Nora Hogan and Jordan Wade with Transwestern. Trey Smith and Clint Madison of Cushman & Wakefield represented the landlord, Regent Properties.
DALLAS—Stripes Agency has leased 3,946 square feet at Harwood Center, 1999 Bryan St. Rena Padachy and Doug Jones represented the landlord, Fortis Property Group. The tenant was represented by Charlie Morris and Graham Perry of Rubicon Representation.
DALLAS—Vim Vitae renewed its lease for 12,880 square feet at 8805 Soverign Row. Natalie Snyder and Chris Hillman with Cushman & Wakefield represented the tenant. The property owner, Illinois Row, was represented by Jason Moser of Stream Realty Partners.
DALLAS—Urban Smart Growth acquired an urban infill mixed-use development site, including a 239,026-square-foot office building, at 2828 Haskell Ave. from Conduent Business (Xerox). The deal was brokered by Chris Harden, Chris Cauthen, Mike Wyatt and Rick Hughes of Cushman & Wakefield.
DALLAS—AUK Bent Tree Partners acquired a 53,861-square-foot office property at 17440 N. Dallas Pkwy. from RMB Bent Tree Garden. Scot Farber and Tom Strohbehn with Cushman & Wakefield represented the seller in the deal.
ENGLEWOOD, CO—Holliday Fenoglio Fowler LP has closed the $127.4 million sale of Kent Place Residences, a 300-unit class-A apartment community located in the Cherry Hills Village area. HFF marketed the asset on behalf of the seller, Forum Real Estate Group. Institutional investors advised by JP Morgan Asset Management purchased the asset and assumed the existing financing at closing.
FARMERS BRANCH, TX—Gamesness Sports leased 6,008 square feet at 1901 Royal Ln. The tenant was represented by Adam Curran of Cushman & Wakefield. The landlord, Sealy Royal Lane, was represented by Andrew Gilbert of Holt Lunsford Commercial.
FRISCO, TX—Southwestern Investment Group leased 4,270 square feet at Hall Office Park, 2601 Network Dr. The tenant was represented by Natalie Snyder Bode and Maureen Kelly Cooper of Cushman & Wakefield. The landlord, Hall Group, was represented in-house by Brad Gibson and Kim Butler.
FORT WORTH—Rhythm Bands subleased 34,988 square feet of industrial space from ID Technology at Mark IV Industrial Park, 2051 Franklin Dr. Blake Anderson, David Eseke and Chris Lussier of Cushman & Wakefield represented ID Technology in the deal. Todd Hawpe of Transwestern represented Rhythm Bands.
GRAND PRAIRIE, TX—STS Operating Inc. leased 25,800 square feet of industrial space at 1170-1172 113th St. The tenant was represented by Blake Anderson and David Eseke of Cushman & Wakefield. The landlord, First Industrial LP, was represented in-house by Robert Allen.
GRAPEVINE, TX—Renhack Marketing leased 22,708 square feet at 752 Port America Pl. The company was represented by Matt Heidelbaugh and Gary Collett of Cushman & Wakefield. The landlord, Prologis, was represented by Gil Stroube of Lincoln Property Co.
HOUSTON—Baker Katz facilitated an 1,800-square-foot lease on behalf of SusieCakes to be situated on the corner of Amherst Street and Kirby Drive in the Rice Village shopping district, just minutes from Rice University. Lunden McGill with Baker Katz represented SusieCakes and Kara Rafferty with Trademark Property represented the landlord.
IRVING, TX—TEK Systems subleased 16,128 square feet from JDA Software at 500 E. John Carpenter Fwy. The deal was brokered by Travis Boothe, Randy Cooper, Craig Wilson, Cribb Altman and Natalie Snyder of Cushman & Wakefield.
IRVING, TX—Medieval Times leased 15,377 square feet at 5020 Riverside. Johnny Johnson and Trey Smith of Cushman & Wakefield represented the landlord, Brookfield Property Partners. The tenant was represented by Kimarie Ankenbrand and Alan Wood of JLL.
PLANO, TX—Bridger Logistics leased 11,633 square feet at International Business Park, 6100 Plano Pkwy. Robbie Baty and Mike Wyatt represented the tenant in the deal. The landlord, Billingsley Co., was represented by Trevor Franke and Gini Russell of Peloton Commercial Real Estate.
RICHARDSON, TX—PriceTrace leased 13,514 square feet at Eastside Centre, 720 E. Campbell Rd. Dean Collins, Craig Wilson, Mark Collins and Randy Cooper of Cushman & Wakefield represented the tenant in the transaction. The landlord, AGF Spring Creek Coit II, was represented by Rick Currey and Pat Hanahan with Fobare Commercial.
SAN ANTONIO—Velocis, a private equity real estate manager, through its Velocis Fund II, purchased Legacy Oaks, a 224,262-square-foot, class-A medical office complex located directly adjacent to San Antonio's 900-acre South Texas Medical Center. The seven-building complex, which recently underwent extensive capital improvements, is currently 75% leased by a mix of health care providers. To unlock value, Velocis plans to implement a refreshed management and leasing strategy with a market-oriented approach enhanced by key physical improvements.
