Commercial property owners are taking more deliberate steps to ensure safety and resiliency against rising sea levels, hurricanes, earthquakes and wildfires, according to a new report by CBRE. Property managers, to state the obvious, are playing a key role in this process. "Property managers need the tools to balance near-term issues with the challenges of the next decade and beyond," says CBRE's Chris Connelly, Global President, Property Management in prepared remarks. "Investors look to property managers to help provide a safe environment for the building's current occupants, which is the number one priority.
