Monika Smutko
Sunrise Management is expanding its small properties division. The firm has hired Monika Smutko as regional VP to oversee all property management functions in the small properties division.
Smutko brings 15 years of property management experience to the firm, and was most recently director of operations for Pasadena's Invitation Homes, overseeing a staff of 30 and a $92 million budget. Prior to that she was a property manager for Los Angeles-based CIM Group, overseeing both mixed use and multifamily developments. She also worked as a senior community manager for BRE properties, and as a property manager for The Irvine Company and The REMM Group.
The small properties division currently has 22 units and is made up of both single and multifamily units.
