INDIANAPOLIS—Hendricks Commercial Properties LLC has just chosen Colliers International | Indianapolis to provide property management services for the Century Building – a 154,000 square foot historic office building in downtown Indianapolis. The move comes at a time when investors have gotten more interested in the CBD’s historic buildings and companies increasingly see downtown office space as a way to recruit and retain younger workers.

The 8-floor, multi-tenant property is located at 36 S. Pennsylvania St. directly across from Bankers Life Fieldhouse. It was first used as a warehouse in 1901, but converted to office use in 1984. The San Francisco-based tech firm Salesforce now anchors the property. Other key tenants include and dining establishments, Tin Roof, Coaches Tavern, O’Reilly’s Irish Bar, and Pearl Street Pizza. 

Colliers’ Audrey Lawson, senior property manager, has assumed oversight of the property along with chief engineer, Eric VanDeventer. The office leasing team of Rich Forslund and Matt Langfeldt, executive vice presidents, will market and lease the property. Headquartered in Beloit WI, HCP owns a 12 million square foot portfolio across 39 states including industrial, office, retail, multifamily and development land holdings.
