NEWPORT BEACH—Master Development Corp. has started construction on the $19-million Master Distribution Center, a speculative 520,000-sf industrial project in Ontario.

The two new buildings will stand next to Master Development’s 98%-leased Thoroughbred Business Park, about a mile north of the Pomona Freeway and in the 1400 block of East Francis Street. The buildings will be available for lease or sale.
