Gerding/Edlen Development Co. has sold a former Meier & Frank warehouse in the Pearl District for $14 million. It purchased the building last year for $7.5 million.

The seven-story, 300,000-sf building at Northwest Irving Street and 14th Avenue will be developed specifically for use by telecommunications companies. The buyer was FowlerFlanagan Technology Partners, a San Francisco area firm that specializes in telecom buildings.

Portland-based Gerding/Edlen Development is currently redeveloping five blocks of Pearl District buildings it purchased last year from Stroh Brewing Co. for $19.5 million. Plans are for a $200 million, 1.7-msf mixed use project to be developed over the next few years.
