The Park Central Building Associates LP has purchased 19.5 acres to construct two buildings, consisting of 120,000 sf each, at the southwest corner of Parmer Lane and Interstate 35.

2″What amazes me most is the amount of activity occurring at the intersection,” says Alan K. Lacey of NAI/Commercial Industrial Properties. “Just one year ago, there was nothing. Today, development of some kind is occurring at three of the corners.”

White Lodging Services Corp. is developing a site at the same corner for a Residence Inn by Marriott project.

The Park Central property had been under consideration for development by Opus South Corp., but the deal fell through at the last minute due to a lack of pre-leasing. Opus had the property under contract and had gone as far as securing zoning and design work on the two proposed structures.

Yancy-Hausman & Associates represented the buyer while NAI/Commercial Industrial Properties acted on behalf of the seller, whose name is being withheld.
