R. Bird & Co. is Moving Out of Manhattan

WHITE PLAINS-The design consulting and image strategy firm is looking to attract employees who don't want to commute to New York City.

R. Bird & Co. has signed an eight-year lease for 3,555 sf of office space at Ten Bank St. where it will relocate from Manhattan later this summer. Jeffrey H. Newman, executive vice president of W&M Properties, the marketing and managing agent for the property, says. The company will be housed on the eighth floor. The12-story, 220,000-sf building is owned by an affiliate of the Malkin family.

“Ten Bank St. beautifully fills a space requirement for us that is currently difficult to satisfy in Manhattan,” says Richard Bird, president of the company. “It allows us to appeal to a talent pool that may not wish to commute to New York City.”

W&M Properties represented the owner, the Wagner Group of Bedford Hills negotiated for the tenant.
