David Friedman, northeast regional vice president for the Louis Dreyfus Property Group, says that the company is in discussions with two potential tenants that would lease a total of 300,000 sf of space at the 23-story, 574,000-sf Connecticut Place building.

“We are hopeful that we will be able to snag them in the next month or so,” Friedman notes. The company recently began demolition of 24 Richmond Hill Ave., a 66,000-sf building that stood at the site of the future Connecticut Place property.

The development is a joint venture of Louis Dreyfus Property Group and the Apollo Real Estate Investment Fund.
