IDG Games Media Group has a new Oakland, Calif., home. The San Francisco-based interactive entertainment provider has inked a deal with Shorenstein Realty Services on a 24,000-sf downtown space at 555 City Center.

The 472,000-building is under construction. Its completion is slated for an October 2001. IDG is the building’s second tenant; Internet search engine firm Ask Jeeves signed a lease on a 159,000-sf space in May.

IDG, which signed a 12-year lease on the space, will occupy the building’s entire 11th floor. It is in the process of moving all 60 employees from San Francisco to Oakland.
