ROUND ROCK, TX-One of the Austin area’s most significant new retail projects – 115 acres at the the 328-acre mixed-use La Frontera – is gearing up for its grand opening in a community located just north of the capital.The project, situated at the intersection of FM 1325 and Interstate 35, features 800,000 sf of retail for retailers such as Lowe’s, Sam’s, Barnes & Noble, Old Navy and Bed Bath & Beyond and restaurants. Other retailers who have opted for the new shopping center at a key Austin intersection are T.J.Maxx, Circuit City, Pier 1, Ulta3, Office Depot, Rack Room Shoes, T.G.I.Friday’s, Logan’s Roadhouse, Red Lobster and Schlotzsky’s Marketplace. The retail complex is part of the $600-million La Frontera project, which includes 130 acres for office development as well as a 300-room Marriott.
