WASHINGTON, DC-The American Chemical Society leased 27,824 sf at 1615 L St. NW in Washington D.C. The nonprofit association will occupy parts of the fourth and fifth floors on a 10-year deal. It plans to relocate from 1155 16th St. NW later this year.

Several professional firms, including APCO Associates, Fleishman, Hillard, The Business Roundtable and CPRM North America currently occupy the 13-story, 411,657-sf building, built in 1984.

Transwestern Carey Winston represented the tenant. Cassidy & Pinkard represented the landlord, 1615 Owners LLC.
