WASHINGTON, DC-CarrAmerica Realty Corp. has purchased a 10-acre development site in Bothell, WA and renamed it Canyon Pointe. The site, part of Canyon Park, was formerly known as Highland Campus Phase I. The price was not disclosed.

Work is currently underway on the site, which will feature two office buildings totaling 175,000 sf. Construction on the three-story buildings is expected to be finished in fall 2001.

The sale expands Washington DC-based CarrAmerica’s holdings in the East Seattle market, where it owns 29 buildings with about 1.5 million sf. In Canyon Park alone, it owns 10 buildings totaling 589,000 sf.
