International High-Tech Staffing Firm Opens Austin Office

AUSTIN-TechPartners International is tackling the Austin market, signing for 3,526 sf at 700 Lavaca in the downtown CBD’s Chase Building.

The staffing firm links skilled professionals with high-tech companies. It now has 25 offices worldwide, staffed by 600 employees and a corps of 1,500 consultants. The average rent rate for the lease is $25.50 per sf, Diann Cowling of Quick & Co. in Austin told GlobeSt.com.

“We are well poised to help local technology companies … find the best IT talent in the Austin area,” says Trevor Tice, TechPartners’ managing director. The market’s high-tech demands provide a strong base for the operation, which scouts emerging Internet startup hubs for new offices. Trey Hale is the sales manager for the Austin office.

TechPartners maintains corporate offices in San Francisco, Denver, Austin, Boston, New York City, London and Melbourne. Founded in 1994, it is a wholly owned subsidiary of the Harvey Nash Group PLC, a publicly traded company on the London Stock Exchange.
