LOS ANGELES–An automotive engineering company has purchased a 7.5-acre parcel of land in Irwindale for $2.5 million and plans to build a 140,000-sf campus-style facility on the site to house its expanding operations in the San Gabriel Valley.

Azusa-based Gale Banks Engineering bought the parcel at 16102 Gladstone St. and will start construction next year. The new facility will include a hospitality center for customers, as well as sales, installation and engineering operations.

Grubb & Ellis’ San Gabriel Valley office represented the buyer. BIR Business Brokers represented the seller, Irwindale-based Orban Lumber Corp.
