StorageApps Subleases 71,000+ SF in Relocation

BRIDGEWATER, NJ-The Edison, NJ office of commercial broker Grubb & Ellis has worked out a sublease for the entire third floor, 71,236 sf altogether, at 1001 Frontier Rd. in this Somerset County community. G&E’s Doug Petrozzini, Ray Sohmer and Jeremy Neuer structured the long-term deal for sublessor Thomas & Betts Corp. Sublessee StorageApps, which is moving its headquarters operations from Lawrenceville, NJ, was represented by Michael Shalit of NAI/Eric Bram & Co. The owner of the property was not named.

StorageApps, a provider of network storage solutions, will phase in its relocation over six months. Half of its 300 employees will be moving immediately, and the balance six months from now.

Sublessor Thomas & Betts had earlier relocated its HQ to Tennessee. 1001 Frontier Rd. also serves as the HQ for Phillips-Van Heusen Corp.
