HANOVER TWP., NJ-More than four decades ago, a 60,000-sf office building and 14,000-sf warehouse facility were the right fit for the 14-acre site now known as 10 Park Ave. But times change, and the developer, locally-based Wm. Blanchard Co., is replacing the old structures with a new 150,000-sf, class A office building. Construction’s completion is expected by next June.
“Our decision to redevelop the site is based on our intention to fulfill the highest and best use of the property,” according to the company’s secretary-treasurer William I. Blanchard. “Times change, and because this is a premier corporate location, this is the best use.”
Architect for the new construction is Rotwein & Blake. The new building will feature a central computerized building management system controlling all HVAC, lighting and telecommunications.
