TRACY, CA-It wasn’t too long ago that Silicon Valley locals thought of this rural town as far, far away. But with land becoming scarcer closer to the Bay, skyrocketing rents have pushed tenants, and therefore developers, out to this I-580 city.

Chicago-based HDR Architecture is designing the 530-acre “Tracy Gateway” business park. The proposed park would not only feature 5.8 million sf of offices and 650,000 sf of other commercial and retail space, but also a golf course and eye-catching globe with the “Tracy Gateway” logo.
