LOS ANGELES-A 142,000-sf mixed-use facility in Lakewood that serves as the regional headquarters of the American Association of Retired Persons has been bought for $18 million by a private investment group.

The complex, at 3200 E. Carson St., features 85,000 sf of office space. It includes another 57,000 sf of industrial space, which AARP uses as a mailing center.

The Orange County office of Charles Dunn Co. represented the buyer, Lakewood California Investors. The seller, MRES American Fund 88-II, was represented by both the Orange County and Downtown offices of Charles Dunn.
