DENVER-Arrow Electronics, the world’s largest distributor of electronic components, has paid $10 million, or $5.22 per sf, for 44 acres adjacent to the Centennial Airport in Denver’s southeast corridor. The South Lima Street and East Easter Avenue property neighbors Arrow’s existing facility in the Inverness Business Park, says David Lee, the Frederick Ross Co. broker who has handled the transaction.

The seller, Denver-based Chandelle Properties, bought the land 1-1/2 years ago for $3.37 million. The company has platted and extended utilities to the site. Chandelle had been discussing plans for a 450,000-sf of single-story office/flex space, but reconsidered because Arrow’s offer was too good to pass up.

Lee says Arrow eventually will use the land to expand its campus. The site could support more than 450,000 sf of multi-story buildings.
