MIAMI-It’s only a half acre, but dirt in this city’s Brickell Avenue banking corridor doesn’t come cheaply. Coral West Developers paid Taormina Development Inc. $1.2 million or about $56 per sf for the parcel. The same lot went for $775,000 or about $36 per sf in 1998. The buyer’s development plans haven’t been announced.

Muriel Stout is a Taormina principal. Mercosur Investments Inc. manages Coral West Developers. Gianani Corradi is the company’s president.
