Frewen Architects Joins Berkebile Nelson Immenschuh McDowell Architects

KANSAS CITY, MO – Frewen Architects Inc. and Berkebile Nelson Immenschuh McDowell Architects have decided to merge. Frewen Architects was created by Cindy Frewen-Wuellner nearly 20 years ago. BNIM, which has been in business more than 30 years, is one of the city’s top 10 architectural firms.Frewen Architects specializes in community development and public works. Previously, the two firms worked together on projects such as the Kansas City Zoological Park and the Paseo Academy for Performing Arts magnet school.

The two firms, Frewen with seven staff members, and BNIM, with 80 employees, are moving into new offices on the first three floors of the Power & Light Building downtown, at 106 W. 14th St.

In other architectural news in the Kansas City area, HNTB Architects Engineers Planners has announced that David Juranek has joined the staff. Juranek will work in the firm’s architecture division. He received a bachelor’s degree and a master’s degree from the University of Nebraska.
