SEATTLE, WA-Clise Properties Inc., a Seattle-based property management and real estate development company, has been issued a determination of significance by the City of Seattle for its proposed 16-story building at 2300 Fifth Avenue in downtown. The next step is a public scoping meeting now scheduled for Jan. 3. Discussions will be held then on the project’s impacts and what issues it should focus on in its environmental impact statement.

Clise’s early-stage plans for the office tower include 592,000 sf of office space, an 11,151-sf child center, 13,223 sf of retail and 615 stalls of structured parking. A portion of the development site, 2301 Sixth Avenue, is presently home to a car dealership, Frederick Cadillac Ltd. Management there was not immediately available to comment on its relocation plans. Clise’s project manager for the tower is Richard Stevenson.
