Estabrook Will Chair NAIOP's National Board

CRANFORD, NJ-Anne Evans Estabrook has been elected to serve as chairman of the National Association of Industrial and Office Properties’ National Board of Directors for 2001. Estabrook, a past president of NAIOP’s New Jersey Chapter, is owner and CEO of Elberon Development Co., based here; owner and president of David O. Evans Inc., a construction and property management firm; chairman of E*Town Corp., Elizabethtown Water Co. and E*Town Properties Inc. and is a director of Summit Bancorp and its subsidiary, Summit Bank. She is the second woman to head the association.

Estabrook moved into the leadership role of David O. Evans Inc. in the early 1980s. Between that company and Elberon Development, she oversees a portfolio of 31 office and warehouse buildings in New Jersey, totaling 2.5 million sf. She also was responsible for moving the family business into banking and utilities.

Currently, NAIOP comprises 8,000 members in 46 North American chapters.
