HOUSTON-In a year-end frenzy, 11 tenants have snatched up 251,997 sf of leasable space in the Houston region.

The largest taker, Pogo Producing, has added 27,118 sf to its 78,414-sf pact at 5 Greenway Plaza, owned by Crescent Real Estate Funding III LP.

Another energy firm, Callon Petroleum Co. is taking 8,500 sf at 1200 Enclave Parkway from DNA COG, Ltd., while Sapient Corp. has negotiated for 29,180 sf in the Wesleyan Tower with Cool Springs Holdings c/o Presidio Investments. P&O Nedlloyd Ltd. has secured 31,971 sf in the Concourse at Westway at 4700 W. Sam Houston Parkway in a lease from Champion Concourse One LP.

Retailer Walgreen’s has leased a 15,120-sf freestanding building and drive-through pharmacy at 15111 Wallisville Rd. from WCF Development. Woodcreek Bank has taken over 6,621 sf in James Plaza at 3934 FM 1960 west from James Plaza Office Association.Sooner Pipe too has opted to renew and expand its leased space at Four Houston Center at 1221 Lamar. The company is taking 11,409 sf at the Crescent-owned downtown office property.

Amar Cosmetics will be occupying 9,000 sf of warehouse space at 500 N. Shepherd Dr. from Sharp & Associates; and Adams Valves has leased 20,113 sf in Town & Country Business Park at 10649 Haddington from Houston North Freeway.

The Quest Business Agency has taken the keys to 10,902 sf in The Resource Center at 7026 Old Katy Rd. in a lease with Sugar Grove HR Ltd. while Make Sans Systems has moved into 6,649 sf in The Park at Cornerstone at 14300 Cornerstone Village from Tracon 1 LLC.
