LONDON-Henderson Global Investors has bought Alder Castle, Noble Street, EC2 from Argent for £59 million ($82 million). The 92,500 sq ft building was purchased on behalf of Pearl Assurance.

The six storey building was completed in September 1999. US law firm, Brobeck Hale & Dorr, took three floors and accountancy firm Ernst & Young the remainder at around £47.50 ($66) per sf in mid-2000. The purchase price reflects an initial yield of around 7%.

BH2 acted for Argent and Insignia Richard Ellis acted for Henderson.
