A Fulfilling, $8.2-Mil Lease Deal

LOS ANGELES-A fulfillment- and distribution-services firm has signed a 10-year lease valued at $8.2 million for 117,217 sf of industrial space in the South Bay.

The tenant is Imagine Fulfillment Services, a privately held distribution and fulfillment company. It has already begun moving from its former home in nearby Dominguez Hills moved into its new building, at 20100 S. Vermont Ave. in Torrance.

The new space will serve as Imagine Fulfillment’s corporate headquarters. Though the bulk of the space will be used for distribution and warehousing purposes, it will also house a call center and relatively small amount of office workers.

Imagine Fulfillment has also exercised an option to purchase the complex, one of the Grubb & Ellis brokers who worked on the deal says. However, the deal won’t close until next year because of tax considerations.
