Churchill House, 35 Red Lion Square WC1, and New Derwent House, 69-73 Theobalds Road WC1, in London’s Midtown for £14.5 million ($20.45 million). The properties compromise a total of 46,750 sf of offices, together with basement parking.

The properties produce a combined rental of £1,189,100 ($1.67 million). Churchill House is let to British Telecom for 20 years from December 1983 at a rent of £1,009,100 ($1.43 million) per annum. British Telecom has sub-let the building for the full term to public relations agency Hill & Knowlton.

New Derwent House is multi-tenanted and produces just under £180,000 ($254,000) per annum, with all the leases expiring by February 2004Michael Elliott acted for Compco and Anthony Green & Spencer acted for the vendor, part of Mallory Clifford’s Blackfriars Group
