WASHINGTON, DC-The Residence Inn Vermont Avenue here has received $27 million in adjustable-rate acquisition financing. GMAC Commercial Mortgage Corp. arranged the financing for the 202-unit hotel with 158,000 sf of space. Specifically, GMACCM Hospitality Industry Division here arranged the transaction, and RIDC LLC received the financing.

The hotel is a 12-story facility located on .37 acres. It was renovated in 1999.

GMAC Commercial Mortgage is a wholly-owned subsidiary of GMAC Commercial Holding Corp. GMACCM originates loans, offers loan servicing, handles asset management and arranges the securitization of commercial mortgages. It has a servicing portfolio of more than $105 billion. It also offers permanent, interim and construction lending and has specialized lending units in healthcare, hospitality and e-commerce offerings through Internet commercial mortgage lending.
