DENVER-Duke Energy Field Services has signed a letter of intent to lease 125,000 sf in Hines Interests’ proposed 42-story, 640,000-sf office tower planned Downtown. Barry Dorfman, a broker with the Staubach Co., confirms that Duke signed the letter of intent, but declined to give any details.

The Hines project would be the first office project of that magnitude in Downtown in more than 15 years. Duke Currently occupies 120,000 sf in Republic Plaza, which is owned by Brookfield.
