SANTA ANA, CA-Cabrillo Park, a 73,500 sf retail shopping center, has been sold by Newport Beach-based Cabrillo Park, LLC/Red Mountain Retail Group to a foreign investor based in Mexico for $6.8 million.

Part of a 1031 exchange with another property owned by the private investor elsewhere in the United States, the center is located at 1710-1730 E. 17th Street. Rehabbed in 2000, the center is anchored by Superior Foods/Certified Grocers with a number of independent store owners leasing most of the remaining space.

Carlos Lopez of Faris Lee Investments in Irvine represented the seller in the transaction. Jack Faris with Voit Commercial’s Anaheim Metro office represented the buyer.
