NEW ALBANY, OH-Regency Centers of Columbus, OH has closed on the sale of a pad at Kroger New Albany shopping center to BEF REIT Inc. Purchased for $600,000, BEF REIT Inc. plans on constructing a Bob Evans restaurant on 1.06 acres of land at the intersection of Fodor and New Albany roads.

The 91,805-sf Kroger New Albany shopping center is anchored by Kroger and Blockbuster.

The company operates 15 grocery-anchored shopping centers totaling more than 2 million sf of retail space in Central Ohio.

Nationally, Regency owns 260 retail properties totaling 27.9 million sf located in high growth markets throughout the US.
