AUSTIN-Two organizations renewed leases and one of them took more space in separate deals in San Antonio and Austin.

In the Alamo City, USPA/IRA, the largest independent financial planning firm for military families, renewed on 5,331 sf and took another 1,263 sf in the Oakwell Farms office building in the city’s northeast submarket. New York-based PHL-OPCO LP owns the 62,022-sf building. Krista Upham of Transwestern Commercial Services’ San Antonio office represented the owner and USPA/IRA represented itself. The Oakwell Farms building was built in 1985.

USPA/IRA, based in Ft. Worth, has two other San Antonio-area locations as well as offices in a dozen Texas cities. The company is set to change its name in a few weeks to First Command Financial Planning.

In Austin, Daughters of Charity Health Services of Austin, which operates the city’s Seton medical facilities, renewed its lease on 9,000 sf at the Association of Texas Professional Educators, 305 E. Huntland, in the city’s north submarket. Seton occupies the second floor of the five-story building. Brett Arabie of Austin-based Colliers Oxford Commercial represented the ATPE, which owns the building. Seton represented itself.
