CHERRY HILL, NJ-The New Jersey Real Estate Commission has approved the application of interSTATE Net Bank to become a depository institution for real estate brokers’ trust and escrow accounts. InterSTATE combines commercial banking services with a Web-enabled technology platform to provide banking products and services to a variety of businesses.

“We are now in a position to provide real estate escrow services,” according to president/CEO Hal Shaffer. “We will be able to expand the scope of services we can provide our customers in the real estate industry.”

From its headquarters at the LibertyView Building in Cherry Hill, the institution provides banking services in New Jersey, as well as in Pennsylvania and Delaware, interSTATE Net Bank is planning to roll its services out on a national basis this fall.
