LOS ANGELES-A third-party logistics firm has signed a five-year lease for 288,000 sf of industrial space in Santa Fe Springs. The deal is valued at $5.3 million.

The company, Gilbert Service Corp., dba Gilbert West Inc., will take space in the Hathaway I Business Park. This industrial complex stands at 11811-31 E. Florence Ave.

Gilbert Service Corp. was represented in-house. The landlord, The Shidler Group, was represented by Rick McGeagh of CB Richard Ellis.

Another third-party logistics firm also signed a lease for industrial space recently. The deal involved a 155,992-sf facility in La Puente, as reported last week by The tenant, Sacramento-based Hydra Warehousing & Consolidation Inc., signed a 10-year deal valued at $8.4 million.

Hydra has already occupied the facility, which stands at 14255-317 Lomitas Ave. It is a new location for the firm. The recently completed building will be used to store bottles.
