LONDON-The slowdown in leasing activity that is affecting London and Thames Valley offices appears not to have spread to other sectors and locations. Saville Gordon Estates claims that letting activity on its industrial estates across the country is undiminished.

Speaking at the company’s Annual General Meeting, Chief Executive Roger Carey said: ‘We are keeping a close eye on the wider economic conditions. However, to date we have seen little evidence of a slowdown. Looking at current trading, recent performance has been encouraging. Customers are still taking space actively.’

Carey said the company’s policy of offering space on flexible terms was now attracting larger companies to its sites, and helping to maintain rental growth.
