LONDON-Following its relocation to Burford’s development at 50 Berkeley Street, London, W1, the industrial investor Brixton has sold its old headquarters building, 22-24 Ely Place, London EC1 for £5.85 million ($8.6 million).

Brixton has occupied the 12,655 sf building for exactly half a century. It included 4,826 sf of sub-let space which currently produces £152,000 ($225,000) per annumThe sale completes Brixton’s withdrawal from the office market, following a decision to focus on the South East industrial, warehouse and business space markets. .

Edward Charles & Partners and Insignia Richard Ellis acted for Brixton. The purchaser was advised by Kinney Green.
