VIENNA, VA-MBP LLC has acquired the Chantilly Business Center for $8 million from Chantilly Business Center LP. Transwestern Commercial Services represented the buyer in the transaction. Cambridge Property Group LP represented the seller. The property comprises three flex/warehouse buildings totaling 124,139 sf.

The project was developed in 1985 and has been sold fully leased, Transwestern said in a statement. Lead tenants at Chantilly Business Center include Duron Paints, Purnell Brothers Furniture and Stanley Steamer. This is not the first time MBP has retained the services of Transwestern to broker a deal. In 1999, MBP sold 20 acres in Sterling, VA to Orbital Sciences Corp. for $3.3 million, and was represented by the commercial brokerage in that deal.
